AI Readiness Assessment
From AI hype to productive implementation
AI is making headlines everywhere, but for most SMEs, the tangible benefits remain unclear. Copilot licenses aren't sufficient if no one knows which processes are truly worth automating or where data quality is still insufficient. And without a clear picture of your own data landscape, any AI strategy remains just a PowerPoint slide.
In the AI Readiness Assessment, we analyze your processes, data, and existing infrastructure. By the end, you will have a prioritized list of use cases with measurable business impact and a binding offer for implementing the first step.
How the assessment works
We start with a process and data analysis: What systems do you use today, what is the state of your data quality, and which processes are fundamentally automatable? We identify the areas where AI truly makes a difference, rather than just feeding the hype.
In the second step, we jointly prioritize the use cases with the greatest leverage. A Copilot pilot in a team, document automation with Azure AI Document Intelligence, an AI agent for internal approvals via Copilot Studio: Depending on the starting point, each company has different quick wins. Instead of a scattergun approach and pilot graveyards, you get a clear focus on what truly pays off for you.
Finally, you receive an implementation plan with phases, timelines, and a transparent cost estimate. You will know which use case to start with, what it will cost, and what ROI you can realistically expect. And you will see measurable results after each phase, not just at the project's end.
From workshop to productive implementation
The assessment is the starting point. If you decide to proceed with implementation, we will support you throughout the process and ensure that AI and automation become an integral part of your daily operations. This includes enablement for the affected teams, robust data governance via Microsoft Purview, and an operating concept that evolves with your use cases.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly does Baggenstos do?
Baggenstos is a Swiss IT service provider with a Microsoft focus. We guide SMEs to the cloud, manage their IT infrastructure as a service, and secure them with our b.Secure concept. One close-knit team, one location in Wallisellen, one goal: simple, secure, cloud-based IT. 100 years of history, self-financed and independent.
Which companies are the right fit for Baggenstos?
For Swiss SMEs with 50 to 500 employees looking to professionalize their IT operations. Equally for enterprise customers seeking proven professional services and deep Microsoft 365 and Azure expertise for demanding projects. Whether you're just starting your cloud journey or already using Microsoft 365 and want to outsource its management. We are the ideal partner if Microsoft is central to your IT strategy and you're seeking a long-term operational partner, not just a project service provider.
Why does Baggenstos work with Microsoft?
Because focus leads to better quality. We don't do SAP, no Salesforce, no jack-of-all-trades. Instead, we know every license type, every Azure configuration and every Teams nuance in depth. This deep specialization in the Microsoft ecosystem is reviewed year after year and confirmed with Solutions Partner designations.
What sets Baggenstos apart from other IT service providers?
Three key aspects: First, our consistent focus on Microsoft, backed by annually audited certifications. Second, our Managed Service model, which includes a personal Service Manager and a monthly review meeting. We don't disappear after the project. Third, 100 years of continuity, owned by the family and management, self-financed and independent of investors or corporate decisions.
How does a collaboration with Baggenstos work?
It all begins with an initial consultation. Based on your needs, this leads to an assessment or workshop where we analyze your current situation and develop a roadmap. We then proceed with phased implementation, supported by a dedicated contact person and a clear timeline. Following this, 80% of our clients continue to work with us long-term through our Managed Service.
What does a collaboration with Baggenstos cost?
It depends on the scope. We bill Managed Services monthly per workplace; projects are based on a clearly defined scope and budget. In an initial consultation, we work out together what you need, and you receive a transparent offer. No hidden setup fees, no surprises on your invoice. We explain the exact pricing logic on the respective service pages.
Where is our data stored?
In Microsoft data centers in Switzerland. Microsoft operates two data centers in Zurich and Geneva. Your data remains in Switzerland, in compliance with Swiss data protection law. We configure your environment to ensure data residency meets your regulatory requirements. Upon request, we also advise on industry-specific compliance requirements.
