What is Azure Virtual Desktop and how does it work?
Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) delivers full Windows desktops and individual apps virtually from Microsoft Azure. Your employees access them from any device, while computing power, data and security stay centrally in Azure. Unlike physical PCs, you scale capacity on demand.
How does Azure Virtual Desktop differ from Windows 365?
Windows 365 is a fixed cloud-PC subscription per user, simple and predictable. Azure Virtual Desktop is the flexible VDI platform: multi-session pools, on-demand scaling and special workloads such as GPU. In an assessment we clarify which solution, or which combination, fits you.
Which use cases is AVD particularly suited to?
For seasonal or fluctuating user numbers, external staff and contractors, locations with high data-protection requirements, and compute-intensive or legacy applications. Wherever a fixed cloud-PC subscription would be too inflexible or too expensive, AVD plays to its strengths.
How secure is our data in Azure Virtual Desktop?

What does Azure Virtual Desktop cost?
