Forem AG was founded in 2004 as a financial intermediary and asset manager. Since 2013, it has been integrated into the 3FO Foundation. As a member of SRO / Polyreg, the company provides its customers with a financial service platform. On the one hand, the foundation capital is managed with the help of external asset managers, and on the other hand, a variety of family office services are provided to third-party clients. Any surpluses generated flow into the activities of the 3FO Foundation and thus remain charitable. Forem thus provides other internal organizations with financial resources and numerous other services. The company employs 24 people at 4 locations.
Stabilisation via transition to the Azure Cloud
The existing infrastructure for Forem AG, 3FO and other associated organisations should be further simplified in order to stabilise the situation. As many services as possible should be bundled. Parts of the required IT services are already obtained from the cloud. In order to implement the project "Enabling sustainable operations with managed services", existing on premise Windows servers and SQL databases were migrated to Azure (Rehost Windows/SQL to Azure).
